Daniella graduated from physiotherapy at AUT in 2008 and after completing her physiotherapy studies she went on to complete her Pilates training with Stability Plus Pilates in Auckland. With nearly 15 years’ experience she has a detailed knowledge of Pilates repertoire and great ideas to help clients who are rehabilitating from injuries as well as those focussing on efficient movement strategies in sport and everyday life.
Danni is very passionate about combining the benefits of hands on physiotherapy with movement-based Pilates exercises and feels that this combination gives her clients the best results.
She has seen first-hand the dramatic difference that movement-based rehab can have on a person’s physical and mental health and she passionately shares this experience in all her sessions and classes.
Finding the causes of injury/pain and looking at a client holistically, rather than just treating the presenting symptoms are always at the forefront of her mind when working with patients and Danni places great importance on educating patients and clients by giving them the tools to retrain and change their own movement patterns.
She is currently doing Post graduate study in the Women’s Health field to further her knowledge and she understands the importance for everyone of be able to function well in your everyday life!
Danni’s has a special interest in:
- Pre and Post Natal care
- Women’s Health
She is actively involved in sharing her experience and knowledge with our Pilates Instructors and clients at the studio and this creates a unique collaborative approach when transitioning patients from rehabilitation to using Pilates as a maintenance program for overall well-being.
Personally, Danni found Pilates invaluable for maintaining strength and flexibility and credits it for remaining pain-free during her pregnancies. She shares this approach to healthy living with all her clients.
